Description

Organic potato flakes are a natural product obtained from certified, non-genetically modified potato varieties from organic farming. During production, the potatoes are washed, peeled, blanched, cooked and dried without the addition of any additives. The product is in the form of loose, uniform flakes ranging in colour from cream to light yellow, with a characteristic taste and aroma of cooked potatoes.

Organic potato flakes without additives meet the requirements of the Polish standard PN-A-74722 and applicable EU regulations. They are gluten-free, free from allergens, pesticide residues, GMOs and ionising radiation. This makes them an excellent raw material for the production of healthy, organic and functional foods.

Application

Organic potato flakes are mainly used as a quick base for mashed potatoes, also in industrial kitchens, catering and instant meals. Thanks to their ease of preparation and natural composition, they can also be used by manufacturers of baby food and organic food.

Product is also used as a semi-finished product for further processing, e.g. in the production of croquettes, noodles, potato cakes, potato chips and bakery snacks. Thanks to their high water absorption and stable physical and chemic properties, they are valued in modern production lines.

Storage

Store 12 months from the date of manufacture  at a temperature of approx. 20°C and relative humidity of approx. 75%, in the original packaging, in rooms free from foreign odours.

Package

The product is packed in 25 kg paper bags with an HDPE layer or in 400–1000 kg big bags. Each pallet (120×80 cm) is secured with stretch film.
