Description

Potato Flakes are a versatile product used in the food, feed, and industrials sectors, valued for their thickening and binding properties. Made from non-GMO potatoes, these flakes are ideal for producing frozen foods, baked goods, and animal feed, as well as for industrial applications. With their creamy, floury texture and natural potato aroma and flavor, they deliver consistent performance across various uses.

Technical aspects

Potato Flakes are produced through a controlled process where potatoes are boiled, mashed, drum-dried, and scraped off to create uniform yellow to cream-colored flakes. When mixed with water (100 g of flakes with 500 ml of water at 75ºC), they form a fluffy, non-sticky mass with a distinct potato flavor. These flakes meet high hygiene standards and are a reliable solution for applications requiring quality and consistency.

Storage

The storage period of Potato Flakes without additives is 8 months. Potato Flakes with additives can be stored for 12 months.

Potato Flakes should be stored in dry, clean, cool, well-ventilated warehouses at an air temperature not exceeding 20°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 75%.
