Application

Adipic acid is used in the food industry as an acidity regulator and additive to beverages, jellies, milk desserts, confectionery, and sauces. As an E355 additive, it is responsible for giving products a sour taste and stabilizing their properties during storage.

In the chemical industry, this compound is used in the production of resins, plastics (e.g., nylon), plasticizers, and cleaning agents. Adipic acid is also used in chemical syntheses as a raw material for further processing.

Storage

Store in a dry and cool place, in tightly closed containers, protect from moisture.
