Coconut Oil

Coconut oil, also known as coconut butter, is a white solid at room temperature, above 25°C it becomes a clear liquid. It has the characteristic smell and taste of coconut. It is obtained by pressing and heating the copra – the hard flesh of the coconut palm.

The oil is a source of valuable vitamins and minerals, has regenerating, moisturizing, antibacterial and antioxidant properties, which are beneficial for use in cosmetics. It also has a high combustion temperature so it can be used at high temperatures.

Product is widely used in various industries, including:

• food processing and edible oil applications,
• confectionery and bakery products,
• frying and cooking fats,
• cosmetic and personal care products,
• oleochemical and industrial applications,
• specialty fat formulations.

Product should be stored in clean, dry containers or tanks, protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
