Description

Alkalized Cocoa Powder 10–12% is a high-quality dark red cocoa powder produced through the alkalisation, roasting and milling of fermented Theobroma cacao beans. The dark red variety is valued in the food industry for its deep, rich colour and well-rounded flavour profile, making it especially suitable for premium applications that require intense visual and sensory impact.

During production, cocoa beans are cleaned, alkalised, roasted and pressed to obtain alkalised cocoa cake, which is then finely milled into a uniform, free-flowing powder. The product is characterised by its dark brown to reddish hue, strong cocoa aroma and mildly bitter taste typical of alkalised cocoa.
