Leucine is an essential amino acid belonging to the group of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA), intended for use in animal nutrition. The product is supplied in the form of white crystals or crystalline powder, odourless or with a slight characteristic odour, and a slightly bitter taste typical of amino acids.

Feed-grade L-Leucine is characterised by high purity, good stability during storage and a high content of active substance, which ensures reliable performance in feed formulations. As an essential amino acid, leucine plays an important role in protein synthesis and muscle metabolism, supporting growth, development and overall nutritional balance in animals.
