Description

Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide obtained by microbial fermentation. The product is a white or slightly off-white powder with fine granulation (80 mesh), neutral taste and no foreign odours.

Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid is characterised by high purity (≥95% on a dry weight basis) and appropriate physicochemical properties, which make it a valued ingredient in dietary supplements and health products.

Technical aspects

Hyaluronan powder has a high glucuronic acid content and stable quality parameters. Thanks to its specific molecular weight range, it exhibits beneficial functional properties.

Application

Storage

Sodium hyaluronate should be stored in tightly closed containers, protected from light, in a dry and cool place (recommended temperature 2–10°C).
