Unsalted sweet cream butter is a high-quality dairy fat product manufactured from pasteurised cream, either non-acidified or gently acidified. It is characterised by a uniform, slightly creamy to cream colour, a smooth and dry surface, and a carefully formed, homogeneous structure. Natural colouring originating from the raw material is permitted, ensuring a consistent and natural appearance.

Technical aspects

The product offers a pure, mildly lactic flavour profile with a light aftertaste typical of pasteurised cream. A slightly fatty mouthfeel and subtle deviations from a perfectly neutral aroma are acceptable and characteristic for this type of butter. Thanks to its stable composition and high fat content, unsalted sweet cream butter is widely used in professional food processing and industrial applications.
