Description

Soy lecithin is a natural mixture of phosphatides and soybean oil obtained from soybeans. The product is a homogeneous, viscous liquid ranging in color from yellow to dark brown, with a characteristic taste and smell typical of soy lecithin.

Due to their high phospholipid content and emulsifying and stabilizing properties, soy phospholipids are used in the food, feed, and pharmaceutical industries. They are available in both GMO and non-GMO versions, depending on the manufacturer.

Technical aspects

Lecithin oil is a homogeneous liquid with high viscosity and typical color. It is characterized by specific physicochemical parameters and microbiological purity.

Storage

Liquid soy lecithin should be stored in its original, tightly closed container in a dry and clean warehouse, away from sunlight and foreign odors. The recommended storage temperature is 16–30°C.
