Description

Salt Tablets is sodium chloride in the form of a fine-crystalline substance with a white colour and a typical salty taste. The product is free from foreign odours and impurities, which allows for its safe use in various industries.

Sodium chloride is characterised by good solubility in water and physicochemical stability. For this reason, tablet salt is used in water treatment systems as well as in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Technical aspects

Tableted salt is a white, fine-crystalline product with a neutral odour and salty taste. It is characterised by a high sodium chloride content, low moisture content and appropriate granulation, which facilitates its use and storage.

Application

Tableted salt is used in water treatment systems, where it is used to regenerate ion exchange resins in softening stations. This improves the quality of drinking and industrial water.

Sodium chloride is also used in the food industry as a basic ingredient in many products such as bread, cheese, meat products and snacks. It is also used in pharmaceuticals (e.g. in the production of infusion fluids and tablets) and in the chemical and technological industries, including in the manufacture of cleaning agents, detergents, electroplating solutions and in desalination processes.

Storage

Store in original, tightly closed packaging in a dry and clean place. Transport and storage should take place in covered areas, away from moisture and sources of contamination.
