Organic cocoa powder 10–12% is a natural product obtained from certified organic cocoa beans. It is not alkalised, which allows it to retain the intense flavour and aroma typical of raw cocoa. It has a dark brown colour and a uniform, free-flowing texture.

It contains no additives, GMOs or allergens, making it a suitable choice for producers of organic, vegan and functional foods. It works well in recipes where natural flavour, simple ingredients and clean label requirements are important.

Application

Organic cocoa is used in the production of biscuits, baked goods, creams, instant drinks, ice cream, bars and breakfast mixes. Thanks to its natural flavour, it is suitable for products that do not contain flavourings or additives.

It is also popular in organic, vegan and ‘free from’ foods. Its natural origin and lack of additives mean that it can be used in products labelled as ‘clean label’ and in recipes aimed at consumers who care about ingredients.

Storage

Organic cocoa should be stored in a dry, cool and odourless place at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C. Under the right conditions, the product will retain its properties for a long time.

Paquet

The product is packed in 25 kg multi-layer paper bags with a plastic liner or in LDPE bags.
