Description

Walnuts Halves are carefully selected walnut kernels, uniform in shape and light brown in colour. The product has a fresh, nutty taste and a characteristic aroma, free from foreign odours. Walnut halves are free from organic and inorganic contaminants and do not contain traces of pests.

Walnut kernels in the form of halves are a natural product, free from GMOs and not subjected to ionising radiation. They meet the requirements of EU regulations on the content of heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins and nickel, making them safe in terms of both chemical and microbiological properties.

Aspects techniques

Walnut halves are evenly developed, have a uniform structure and a delicate flavour typical of fresh nuts. Low moisture content and the absence of contaminants ensure high shelf life and product safety during storage.

Application

Walnut halves are widely used in the confectionery, bakery and snack industries as an ingredient in bars, cakes, muesli, desserts and cookies. Thanks to their natural taste and nutritional value, they are a valued addition to plant-based and high-protein diets.

The product is also used in catering as a decoration for dishes, an addition to salads, pasta and spreads. Their attractive form and high sensory quality make them ideal for both industrial and home use.

 

Storage

Store in clean, dry rooms at a temperature of up to 25°C and relative humidity of up to 65%. Avoid foreign odours, sunlight and contact with insects and rodents. Segregation of the product is recommended to avoid cross-contamination.

Paquet

The product is available in 10 kg bags that protect against moisture and contamination. Intended for professional wholesale and retail trade.
