Lactose-free skimmed milk powder is a low-fat dairy ingredient in which lactose has been broken down, while milk protein and calcium are retained. With a minimum protein content of 45% and lactose reduced to max. 0.1%, this lactose-free milk powder is suitable for formulations where standard skimmed milk powder needs to be replaced with a lactose-reduced alternative — without compromising on protein level or solubility. Fat content is max. 1.5%, moisture max. 3.5%, and pH of a 10% solution falls between 6.4 and 6.8, ensuring stability across a wide range of food applications.

Laktosefreies Magermilchpulver meets strict microbiological standards: total plate count below 10,000 cfu/g, Enterobacteriaceae below 10 cfu/g, Salmonella absent in 1 kg. The product is GMO-free and contains no allergens beyond natural milk components, in compliance with EU Regulation EC No 1169/2011.

Typical applications include lactose-free dairy products, protein-enriched beverages, functional foods, sports nutrition, infant and elderly nutrition formulas, and instant mixes. Due to its higher hygroscopicity compared to standard milk powder, the product requires sealed packaging and storage at below 25°C, RH below 65%.

Storage
