Description

Glucose syrup powder is purified and dried glucose syrup obtained by the hydrolysis of starch. This product is available as a free-flowing powder ranging in colour from white to light yellow, with a sweet taste and a typical glucose odour. Its powder form makes it convenient for transport, storage and dosing.

Glucose powder has a specific content of simple and complex sugars (such as maltose and maltotriose), which gives it functional properties useful in many branches of the food industry. It is widely used as a sweetener, texturiser and stabiliser in confectionery, bakery and dairy products, ice cream and instant foods.

Technical aspects

Glucose powder is a homogeneous, free-flowing product with low moisture content and controlled microbiological parameters. It is characterised by a suitable bulk density and sugar composition, which ensures its versatility and repeatability in industrial use.

Application

Glucose sugar powder is used in the confectionery and baking industries as a sweetener, structuring agent and stabiliser. It facilitates consistency control, improves taste and extends the shelf life of finished products. It dissolves well in water and does not require special preparation conditions, making it very practical for industrial applications.

It is also used in the production of beverages, ice cream, sauces, dairy products and functional foods. The complex sugars it contains have a positive effect on texture and binding properties, helping to maintain the right level of sweetness and technical stability of the final products.

Storage

Store in a well-ventilated, clean and dry warehouse, away from odorous substances, at ambient temperature and relative humidity below 60%. Avoid pressure on the bags.

Package

Glucose syrup powder is available in 25 kg bags and in Big Bags, which ensure convenient transport and stable storage.
