Description

Glycine is a non-polar amino acid and the simplest form of naturally occurring amino acids. The product is available as a white crystalline powder, odourless and neutral in taste, which facilitates its use in food and technological formulations.

Aminoacetic acid is characterised by chemical stability, good water solubility and microbiological safety. L-glycine is used in many sectors, from food to pharmaceuticals, making it a valued raw material with a wide range of applications.

Application

Glycine is widely used in the food industry as a flavour enhancer, acidity regulator and ingredient in dietary supplements. It is used in the production of beverages, functional foods and meat products.

The amino acid glycine is also used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as a precursor for medicinal compounds and an ingredient in skin care formulations. Aminoacetic acid is also used in technological processes, where it acts as a simple, stable amino acid.
