Description

Soy fiber is a functional food ingredient obtained from the cell wall material of soybean cotyledons. It consists of a complex of insoluble fibre, soluble fibre and vegetable protein. Thanks to its natural origin and technological properties, it is used in many branches of the food industry, especially where it is desirable to increase the fibre content and improve the texture of products.

Soybean dietary fiber is light in colour, has a mild odour and is in the form of a free-flowing powder. The product is microbiologically safe, GMO-free and free from allergens other than soy. It has good storage stability and exhibits beneficial absorption properties that affect the structure and quality of the final product.

Application

Functional soy fiber is used in the baking, confectionery, meat and vegan industries and in the production of high-fibre foods. It helps to increase the nutritional value of end products and improves water retention and the texture of baked goods, cakes and snacks.

Soybean cotledon fiber is also used in the production of dietary supplements, protein bars, functional blends and plant-based products. Thanks to its high fiber content and low fat content, it is ideal for low-calorie and health-conscious recipes.

Storage

The product is packaged in 20 kg bags suitable for industrial storage.

Package

Soy fiber should be stored at a temperature below 24°C and relative humidity below 60% to extend the shelf life of the product.
