Description

Brown flaxseed (organic) is a nutritious raw material with a characteristic oval shape, flat structure and a pointed tip on one side. The product is characterised by a uniform, hard structure, brown colour and a typical fresh smell and taste.

Brown flax seeds come from certified organic cultivation and do not contain GMOs or allergens. The product complies with EU regulations on pesticide residues and must be heat-treated before human consumption.

Brown flaxseed is characterised by its stable structure, low moisture content and very good microbiological stability. The product does not crumble, does not contain impurities and complies with EU food safety requirements.

Application

Brown flax seeds are used as an ingredient in bread, cereal bars, breakfast mixes, granola and as an addition to yoghurts and salads. Due to their high fibre content and natural character, they are suitable for use in functional and healthy food products.

Organic linseed is also popular in food processing as a thickening agent or egg substitute in vegan recipes. It requires prior heat treatment before consumption.

Storage

Store in a dry and cool place, at a temperature below 25°C and relative humidity up to 70%.
