Description

Medium coconut flakes are a natural product obtained from purified, fresh coconut flesh, which is gently dried. They are white to cream in colour, have a flexible texture and a characteristic, natural coconut aroma, without any foreign odours or flavours.

Thanks to its high fat content (60–70%) and low moisture content (<3%), medium dried coconut is ideal for use in the food industry. It maintains its shelf life and stability, and its pleasant texture gives products a distinctive coconut flavour.

Aspects techniques

Medium shredded coconut flakes is microbiologically pure and complies with European standards for heavy metal, pesticide and mycotoxin residues. It does not contain allergens or GMOs and has not been irradiated.

Application

Medium coconut flakes are widely used in the baking, confectionery and snack industries. They are used in the production of biscuits, bars, sprinkles, creams and fillings.

They are also used in vegan and plant-based products, as well as an addition to muesli, granola and breakfast mixes. They give products a natural taste and aroma and improve their structure and shelf life.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and sources of moisture. The product is stable under storage conditions.

Paquet

Packaged in 25 kg bags, suitable for transport and long-term storage. Other formats available on request.
