Description

Calcium monophosphate is an inorganic mineral compound used as a feed component. It comes as a white or whitish-grey powder or granules, with no smell. Thanks to its high solubility in citric acid and water, it’s an easily digestible source of phosphorus and calcium in animal nutrition.

The product is stable and has a uniform structure, which facilitates its use in feed mixtures. It meets the requirements of Commission Regulation (EU) No 68/2013 on the catalogue of feed materials and complies with the regulations on feed safety.

Application

Calcium monophosphate is used in the feed sector as a mineral raw material in mixtures for poultry, pigs, cattle and other farm animals. It provides phosphorus and calcium in an easily digestible form, supporting proper bone development and energy metabolism.

Monocalcium phosphate in feed form is also used in mineral and vitamin premixes and ready-made feed mixtures, where it improves the nutritional value and mineral balance.

Storage

Monocalcium phosphate should be stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place, in its original packaging, away from moisture and the risk of contamination by other products.
