Pea protein is a plant-based powder obtained from pea seeds (Pisum sativum). It ranges in colour from whitish-cream to light yellow, has a distinctive taste and aroma, and a free-flowing texture.

Pea protein isolate is distinguished by its high vegetable protein content, low fat content and good solubility. It is a valuable source of amino acids and is widely used in vegan recipes and high-protein products.
