Description

Demineralized Whey Powder 40% is a milk ingredient made from pasteurised sweet whey derived from cheese production. Thanks to the use of modern filtration and spray drying technologies, a homogeneous powder with a light cream colour and a delicate, clean aroma is obtained. The product does not contain any foreign odours or flavours, retaining the typical characteristics of milk whey.

Sweet whey with a high degree of demineralization (D90) is used as a food ingredient, mainly in the production of baby food, confectionery, bakery and dairy products. Whey powder with reduced mineral content is also suitable as a carrier or sweetener in recipes requiring a mild flavour profile and high lactose content.

Aspects techniques

D90 is a free-flowing, homogeneous powder with a slightly creamy colour. It is characterised by low moisture content, low mineral ash content and high microbiological purity. The product has good solubility and stability in a variety of food applications.

Application

Demineralised whey powder 90% is used as an ingredient in baby food, as well as in confectionery, bakery, ice cream, milk desserts and supplements. Thanks to its mild taste and high lactose content, it is also an excellent carrier for flavours, vitamins and bacterial cultures.

Demineralised sweet whey powder is a functional component that improves the structure, consistency and flavour profile of the final product.

The product should be stored in a clean, cool and dry place. Protect from light and moisture.
