Organic cocoa butter is a natural vegetable fat obtained by pressing and refining the fat contained in cocoa beans. This product is characterised by its light colour and the characteristic aroma and taste typical of cocoa. Thanks to its high purity and natural origin, it is widely used in both the food and cosmetics industries.

Cocoa bean fat is GMO-free, contains no allergens other than cocoa and has not been subjected to ionising radiation. It retains its chemical and microbiological stability thanks to its low moisture and fatty acid content. It is ideal as a structuring and aromatic ingredient in end products.

Application

Organic cocoa butter is mainly used in the chocolate and confectionery industry as the main fat for the production of chocolate bars, pralines, coatings and creams. It ensures the right consistency, shine and characteristic taste of the final products.

This product is also used in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries as an ingredient in lotions, protective lip balms, body butters and ointments, thanks to its moisturising and protective properties. Due to its plant origin and organic status, it fits perfectly into the natural and vegan product segment.

Storage

Store in a cool (approx. 15°C), dry and dark place, away from strong odours, light and heat sources. The product should be stored in its original packaging.
