Description

White table sugar is a plant-based product obtained from sugar beets or sugar cane. The raw material meets the requirements for category 2 white sugar and is characterised by its free-flowing form and fine-crystalline structure.

The sugar crystals are white or slightly transparent in colour, and the product itself has a delicate, characteristic aroma and a pure, sweet taste. Refined sugar of this class is characterised by very high purity – it contains a minimum of 99.7% sucrose and has a minimal content of ash, invert sugar and water.

Technical aspects

Grade 2 table sugar has very good microbiological quality and low levels of contamination. The product does not contain allergens, GMOs, heavy metals in quantities exceeding the permissible standards or any odorous substances.

Grade 2 table sugar is also used in the dairy industry, catering, fermented products and the HoReCa sector. Thanks to its neutral taste and high purity, it can be used in both traditional and clean label recipes.
